Video Copilot (http://www.videocopilot.net) just released their new Plugin called "ORB". Andrew Kramer really pulled it off in this one and I don't know how often I needed a decent earth animation and now it is just a few minutes work in Adobe After Effects! Super cool, super easy and all the textures are available too! This is a test done in about half an hour. So not fine-tuned to the detail, but quick & dirty! For a quick test I find it is AMAZING. Sure details, textures and animation must be tweaked, but making this in After Effects in this short time is just epic!
